The role
Anna Freud is seeking a part-time Course Tutor to join their world-leading mental health charity for children, young people and families. The role involves supporting programme delivery and development, teaching, and providing academic tutoring.
What you'll do
- Support Year 1 teaching, particularly practical and skills-based workshops
- Facilitate small-group sessions focused on developing clinical skills
- Mark assignments in line with UCL requirements
- Provide academic tutoring, respond to trainee queries, and monitor progress
- Work with the Programme Director, Course Tutors, and wider team to maintain and develop programme quality
What it takes
- A recognised qualification in a core mental health profession
- Clinical training in evidence-based therapies for children and young people
- Experience using CBT-informed approaches with children, young people, and families
- Experience providing group supervision or reflective spaces
- Experience teaching or training adults and assessing coursework
- Ability to work flexibly within a multidisciplinary team
