The role

The Economic Commission for Africa is seeking a Country Lead to manage the implementation of the RESIslands project in Zanzibar, Tanzania. This role serves as the primary in-country focal point, facilitating stakeholder engagement, supporting climate resilience institutional capacity, and ensuring alignment with national priorities. The consultant will coordinate national workshops, support data collection, and oversee progress reporting throughout the six-month assignment.

  • Prior experience working with donor-funded climate projects and government entities is desirable.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
