The role
The Country Finance Manager Lebanon is responsible for managing administrative and accounting processes, financial reporting, budget planning, and supervising staff within the Finance Department.
What you'll do
- Track and manage deliverables and timelines related to grants, contracts, vendors, and partners
- Supervise and approve regular accounting, including monthly reconciliations
- Prepare and regularly monitor/update WeWorld’s core budget for the Lebanon operation
- Supervise and manage staff within the Finance Department
- Ensure compliance of financial reports with donors’ and internal rules and procedures
- Participate in inter-admin meetings with other INGOs and NGOs
What it takes
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Financial/Accounting management
- At least 5 years of specific experience in finance/administrative positions
- Experience in budget design and management and monitoring of logistics procedures
- Experience in using accounting software
- Experience in managing teams
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
