The role
The Mercy Corps Colombia Country Director leads a large, complex country program, setting strategic vision, managing operations, and ensuring programs meet quality standards and donor requirements.
What you'll do
- Formulate and communicate a clear vision for program goals and strategy
- Lead country planning processes and provide strategic updates
- Set direction by prioritizing and organizing actions and resources
- Oversee program quality and impact
- Ensure effective, transparent use of resources in compliance with Mercy Corps and donor policies and procedures
- Supervise the operations unit, comprised of Human Resources, Finance, Security, Ethics, and IT

- Demonstrated capacity to respond to emergencies and disasters
