The role
The IDB Group is seeking a Corporate Security Consultant to support the management and optimization of the Bank’s Corporate Security Program through security operations support, security technology initiatives, and organizational resilience activities.
What you'll do
- Support the implementation, optimization, and expansion of video analytics and surveillance technologies.
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for security systems, technologies, and operational processes.
- Develop procedures and deliver training to Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) operators and Identification Unit personnel.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of security equipment.
- Support the administration and reconciliation of security-related chargebacks.
- Assist in the development and execution of business continuity plans and emergency response activities.
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Business data Analytics, or other relevant fields.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the corporate security industry.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.
- Citizenship of one of the 48-member countries of the IDB Group.
- No family members working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse.
