The role
A consultor(a) em Desenvolvimento Digital será responsável por apoiar a preparação e execução de operações em telecomunicações, radiodifusão e infraestrutura digital, bem como a identificação de novas oportunidades e aconselhamento de governos e instituições.
What you'll do
- Support the preparation, execution, and supervision of operations related to connectivity expansion, telecommunications modernization, and digital infrastructure deployment.
- Develop technical, economic, regulatory, and financial analyses on telecommunications networks, digital broadcasting, spectrum, shared infrastructure, data centers, and sectoral financing models.
- Prepare studies, technical notes, presentations, reports, Terms of Reference, and other knowledge-related products.
- Engage with governments, regulators, broadcasters, telecommunications operators, and other digital infrastructure stakeholders.
- Contribute to the identification and structuring of new BID operations and initiatives in connectivity, broadcasting, and digital infrastructure.
What it takes
- Master's degree in engineering, economics, or relevant fields (PhD preferred)
- At least 10 years of progressive professional experience in the Brazilian telecommunications sector, including years in advisory or management roles
- Fluency in reading, writing, and oral communication in English and Portuguese
- Citizenship of one of the 48 BID member countries, with legal permission to work in the country without BID sponsorship
- No family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at BID, BID Invest, or BID Lab
