What it takes
- PhD in agricultural or related fields
- At least 6 years of progressive experience in research, promotion, or practice of livestock
- At least 3 years of specific experience in sustainable livestock systems in the Brazilian Amazon
- Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English
- Citizenship of Brazil or a BID member country with legal authorization to work in Brazil
- No family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at BID, BID Invest, or BID Lab
