The role

The position involves technical analysis related to the execution of sectoral operations, supporting the preparation and execution of projects and technical cooperation, and providing operational, technical, administrative, and procurement support.

What you'll do

Perform technical engineering analyses related to the execution of sectoral operations.
Support project planning, organization, monitoring, and control.
Provide assistance to sectoral specialists and beneficiaries in fulfilling contractual conditions.
Review and verify disbursement requests and provide criteria for decision-making.
Conduct project inspections, both in-office and in the field.
Contribute to the timely update of project follow-up reports and other management tools.

What it takes

Master's degree in civil engineering, fluid mechanics, agricultural, hydraulic, sanitary, or related fields.
At least 10 years of specific experience in tasks related to the position.
Experience in supporting project management.
Fluency in English and one of the other official languages of the Bank (Spanish, French, or Portuguese).
Citizenship of one of the 48 member countries of the Bank.
No family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the Bank, BID Invest, or BID Lab.
