The role
The Consultant will support the Resident Coordinator's Office in developing and implementing sustainable data management tools for information analysis, monitoring, and reporting on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework, and the UN INFO platform.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain information management tools such as dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint, and Tableau.
- Integrate developed tools with existing ones in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint, and Tableau.
- Support the compilation and systematization of required information for reports and data visualization platforms.
- Contribute to the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of software applications for data visualization.
- Train the OCR team on managing and updating developed tools.
What it takes
- Professional degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Social Sciences or related fields is required.
- Experience with information management systems and data visualization tools is essential.
- At least five years of experience in handling software for information management is necessary.
- Previous experience with UN Systems in the region or volunteer work is desirable.
