The role

The consultant will be responsible for delivering Business Plan Export (BPE) training to small and medium-sized enterprises in Burundi, Gabon, Republic of Congo, and Democratic Republic of Congo.

  • Provide coaching on the BPE methodology and support beneficiary companies in preparing their BPEs
  • Identify a unique value proposition for each company and guide them to develop strong sales arguments
  • Document meetings (minutes provided within two business days of the actual meeting date)
  • Ensure all participants complete discussion reports after individual sessions

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, commerce, finance, international business or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in services sector and familiarity with SME capacity needs
  • Familiarity with generic diagnostic tools
