The role

The Consultant will evaluate the interventions related to governance, capacity building, access to rights and justice, security, social cohesion, peace, and partnerships under the third strategic priority of the UNCCD 2023-2027 in Togo.

What you'll do

  • Evaluate interventions relevant to the third strategic priority of CCDD, including results related to governance and capacity building.
  • Provide contextual insights into the functioning of UN initiatives in a context of transformations and challenges, and their relevance and effectiveness in strengthening governance.
  • Conduct consultations with stakeholders (government actors, CSOs, and marginalized groups) while respecting cultural differences.

What it takes

  • Master's degree in public administration, law, political science, peace and conflict studies or related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in governance, public sector reform, institutional capacity building or rule of law in Togo or similar contexts
  • Experience contributing to governance and peace and security evaluations
