The role
The Danish Refugee Council is seeking a consultant to develop a Housing, Land and Property (HLP) Due Diligence Framework for Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) programming in Syria.
What you'll do
- Conduct actor mapping, HLP risk assessment, and gap analysis
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations and coordination
- Develop harmonized guidance and due diligence framework
- Facilitate technical workshops and validation
- Design and facilitate training for NMAC and other relevant HLP and HMA actors
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in Law, Urban Planning, International Development, or related discipline
- At least 7 years of experience in HLP and/or Humanitarian Mine Action
- Experience working on or in close collaboration with Humanitarian Mine Action programs
- Experience facilitating multi-stakeholder consultations and technical working groups
- Previous experience supporting inter-agency coordination mechanisms
- Strong understanding of international HLP standards and principles
