Search for Common Ground is seeking a Senior International Consultant and a Senior National Consultant to conduct the final evaluation of a project promoting youth political participation in North and South Kivu through the Youth, Peace, and Security agenda.
What you'll do
- Conduct a rigorous evaluation of the project implementation
- Measure the actual changes/results on peace consolidation, social cohesion, and youth political leadership
- Apply a mixed, participatory, and innovative approach to identify significant changes among target groups
- Ensure the evaluation aligns with PBF evaluation guidelines and Peace Impact Framework
- Lead the overall evaluation design, methodological supervision, and final report writing
What it takes
- Master's degree in social sciences, policy evaluation, peacebuilding, gender studies, international relations or related field
- 7-10 years of experience in conducting peacebuilding project evaluations, youth civic engagement, or inclusive governance
- Experience with innovative and participatory evaluation approaches such as Outcome Harvesting, contribution analysis, peace impact framework
- Fluency in French (primary working language and report writing)
- Experience conducting evaluations of peace and security agendas (2250, 1325) in volatile security contexts
- Experience in the Democratic Republic of Congo, particularly North and South Kivu provinces
