The role
The Consultant will play a key role in advancing the strategic priorities of the Africa Frontline First Initiative and the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) by strengthening continental primary health care financing policies and frameworks.
What you'll do
- Prepare bi-monthly Africa CDC - Continental Coordination Mechanism (CCM) meeting reports with clear action points and status updates on previous ones
- Conduct baseline assessment report on CHW programs in the ECSA-HC
- Develop Community Health Scorecard for ECSA-HC
- Submit reports for two virtual learning workshops conducted on community health financing and sustainability within the ECSA region
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Development Finance, Public Health, International Development or a related field; graduate-level training preferred
- Relevant professional experience in health financing, health economics, public policy, public health, or health systems strengthening
- Experience partnering with governments or policymakers to strengthen health financing systems and provide technical advisory support
