The role
Consultant role at Last Mile Health to support the Africa Frontline First Initiative and Africa CDC by strengthening health financing policies and frameworks, focusing on domestic resource mobilization and community health financing.
What you'll do
- Prepare bi-monthly Africa CDC – Continental Coordination Mechanism (CCM) meeting reports
- Conduct baseline assessment report on CHW programs in the ECSA-HC
- Develop Community Health Scorecard for ECSA-HC
- Prepare reports for virtual learning workshops on community health financing and sustainability
- Finalize the financing and sustainability framework for community health
- Prepare webinar reports for the Africa CDC-CCM Financing and Sustainability Sub-group
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Development Finance, Public Health, International Development, Political Science, or a related field
- Graduate-level training in Health Economics, Health Financing, Health Policy, Public Affairs, Public Health, or a related discipline
- Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa and conducting health policy analysis in low- and middle-income or resource-constrained settings
- Commitment to advancing health equity and social justice
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder coordination skills
