The role
To support the Green Climate Fund accreditation, this mission aims to evaluate and strengthen Solidarités International's Environmental and Social Management System (SGES) by identifying gaps, developing a roadmap, and producing institutional documentation.
What you'll do
- Evaluate the current SGES maturity level
- Identify gaps and develop a detailed improvement roadmap
- Draft a revised Environmental and Social Policy
- Document the institutional process for risk and impact identification, management, and monitoring
- Prepare and present findings to the SGES steering committee
What it takes
- Experience in evaluating and strengthening SGES
- Knowledge of IFC Performance Standards 1-8 and GCF environmental and social requirements
- Experience in drafting policies, procedures, or institutional frameworks
- Ability to design proportionate institutional processes
- Experience with international organizations, preferably multi-country and/or humanitarian
- Ability to conduct internal consultations and co-create with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong writing skills in French, and ideally in English
