The role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking two Consultants to support the design and facilitation of educational and creative activities under the EU-funded project 'Kids4EU – Democracy Starts Here'. The project aims to promote civic education and EU values among children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 through storytelling workshops, interactive exhibitions, and arts-based learning initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Design and facilitate age-appropriate, participatory educational activities for children and adolescents aged 6–18
  • Develop and deliver storytelling sessions, creative workshops, arts-based activities, and interactive learning experiences
  • Support the adaptation of educational materials and methodologies to different age groups and learning contexts
  • Facilitate discussions and reflection activities that encourage empathy, critical thinking, intercultural dialogue, and understanding of diversity
  • Lead the creative and artistic components of advocacy activities
  • Ensure activities are inclusive, engaging, and accessible to children from diverse backgrounds
