The role

The consultant will be expected to participate in the development, programming, testing, debugging, and implementation of new mobile applications with Geospatial and/or AI components, using UN established standards.

Participate in the development, programming, testing, debugging, and implementation of new mobile applications
Prepare technical and user documentation for deployed mobile applications
Provide support for deployed mobile applications including version management and troubleshooting
Perform ongoing reviews with users and developers and respond to user requests
Keep abreast of developments in the field and perform benchmarking
Perform other related duties as assigned

What it takes

Advanced university degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or related field
3+ years of hands-on experience building mobile applications with React/React Native, alternatively with Ionic & Capacitor
3+ years of hands-on experience using JavaScript/TypeScript
2+ years of hands-on experience with API/JSON integration
Experience with iOS and/or Android native development is desirable
Experience with AI and GIS is desirable
