The role
The consultant will contribute to the strengthening of capacities for the production and use of gender statistics in Latin America and the Caribbean, through the development and implementation of a virtual module on cost and return on investment in care, as part of a regional course on gender statistics; preparation and organization of an international expert meeting on indicator 5.4.1 of the SDGs; elaboration of a mapping of uses, potentials, and risks of artificial intelligence in care measurements based on official statistics; and development of a national workshop in Colombia on the National Time Use Survey.
What you'll do
- Develop, adapt, and update technical and pedagogical contents based on conceptual and empirical developments from CEPAL and ILO for a virtual module on cost and return on investment in care.
- Support the preparation and implementation of a regional course, including content loading and review in the virtual platform.
- Design and implement evaluation mechanisms for the course.
- Support communications with counterparts for peer reviews of course contents, including UN agencies.
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, political science, economics or related fields
- At least 3 years of experience in matters related to Colombia’s National Statistical System
- Desired: Master's degree in social sciences, political science, economics or related fields
