What you'll do
- Elaborate the study “Una métrica para la previsión de la demanda de cuidados”
- Develop theoretical framework and measurement units of care, including time of care and monetary indicators (shadow wage)
- Analyze subjects and reasons for care demand by age, gender, socioeconomic level, health, etc.
- Examine internationalization indicators of care and shortage/maltreatment, and the balance between supply and demand of care
- Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of existing indicators and propose new ones
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, economics, sociology or demography
- At least 10 years of research experience on care economy, time use, unpaid work measurement, demography and/or social policies with a gender focus
- Experience developing methodologies and indicators for measuring care needs and demand is desirable
