The role
The Consultant, Africa Programming will be responsible for facilitating the development and delivery of the Global Compact’s programming portfolio within the Africa Hub team. The role involves coordinating regional programs, acting as a key interlocutor with Headquarters and Country Networks, and supporting business sustainability initiatives.
What you'll do
- Coordinate the delivery of regional and cross-country programs including Events, Accelerators, and Academy content.
- Act as key interlocutor with Headquarters and Country Networks to develop regional value propositions.
- Facilitate and lead the development and delivery of programmatic partnerships.
- Provide day-to-day program delivery expertise to Country Networks in the region.
- Support monitoring of program implementation and management of reporting documents.
What it takes
- Master’s degree in management, Economics, International Relations, Business Administration, Political Sciences, or other relevant areas.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management.
- Experience working on business development, organizational capacity development, and business process improvement.
- Direct experience working with the private sector and small businesses.
- Fluency in English is required; French fluency is desirable.
- Knowledge of corporate sustainability and African economies.
