The role

The consultant will provide technical review and support for analytical products, backstopping to modelling activities, stakeholder engagement, advisory support on just transition and circular economy policy applications, and knowledge management.

  • Advanced university degree in development economics, macroeconomics, econometrics, public finance statistics, public policy or a related field

  • Experience working on public policies such as public finance management, budgeting and public investment, fiscal policy reform
  • Experience producing economic analysis both at global, national and sectoral levels and providing policy advice to national governments
  • Experience of working with governments and the UN system on the theme of Green Economy and sustainable development
  • Experience of system dynamics based models
