The role

The consultant will be expected to perform the development, programming, testing, debugging and implementation of new applications with a Geospatial and/or AI components, using UN established standards.

What you'll do

  • Participate in the development of new applications with Geospatial and/or AI components
  • Prepare technical and user documentation for deployed GIS systems
  • Provide support for deployed GIS systems including version management, data recovery, and troubleshooting
  • Manage and administer geospatial SQL databases
  • Perform ongoing reviews with users and developers and respond to user requests

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree in computer science or related field
  • 3 years of experience in planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Geospatial systems using ArcGIS
  • 3+ years of experience working on ETL for geospatial data
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and geodatabase management
  • 2+ years of experience using Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript for GIS
