What you'll do
- Ensure works are carried out in strict compliance with the detailed plan, standards, and specifications
- Advise the Project Owner regarding the conditions for meeting the physical and financial timeframes for the works

- Provide necessary support to the Client to mitigate negative environmental impacts, ensure safety, and comply with other relevant requirements
- Monitor the execution of the works, report on discrepancies, and suspend services as necessary
- Prepare and submit monthly and final reports detailing the project's progress, quality, and other relevant information
What it takes
- Experience in the supervision of the construction of dams, reservoirs, dykes, or other similar hydraulic infrastructure
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or an equivalent recognised field
- A minimum of 10 years’ professional experience, of which at least 5 years must have been spent coordinating or supervising civil engineering works
- Proven experience in supervising or coordinating hydraulic engineering works, preferably dams, embankments, dykes, weirs or similar infrastructure
- High School Technical Diploma in Civil Engineering (Roads or Buildings) / Hydraulics or equivalent field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the supervision or monitoring of civil engineering works
