The role

Manages a portfolio of land conservation projects, develops relationships with private landowners, partners, communities, and agencies to ensure ecological well-being and foster thriving communities in coastal Maine.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with private landowners, partner organizations, communities, and agencies
  • Plan for, prioritize, initiate, and complete conservation projects
  • Support project fundraising activities and negotiate real estate transactions
  • Represent MCHT at conferences and industry gatherings
  • Oversee multiple contractors and ensure quality of work

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 4 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Strong commitment to land conservation and community well-being
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
