The role

The Conservation Data Systems Advisor assists in developing and strategic planning of a centralized conservation data system at The Nature Conservancy (TNC). They will support the development of a holistic data strategy that enables executives, leaders of portfolios, and conservation teams to generate and use evidence for adaptive management.

  • Conducts needs assessment for TNC’s central conservation data system
  • Collaborates with IT colleagues on technical platforms and tools research
  • Assists in developing reports, presentations, and assessments on the data systems initiative
  • May serve as a team leader for assigned projects
