The role
The Conservation and Planning Coordinator will support conservation strategy and planning efforts, co-lead, oversee and coordinate project activities towards protected area management, sustainable financing and community management.
What you'll do
- Manage, coordinate and develop effective project planning and implementation.
- Lead strategic planning for the project as well as formulation and periodic revisions of the project’s annual work plan.
- Support MNLF and PCU with elaboration of the PFP implementation plan, medium-term and annual work plans and M&E frameworks.
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, Environment, Social Science or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of related work experience in conservation and sustainability, conservation planning and practice, project implementation.
- Experience working with and guiding team members, including assigning tasks, providing feedback, and supporting performance improvement.
