The role

The role involves providing specialized technical cooperation to strengthen national and subnational capacities in Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE), infodemic management, and strategic communication for health in Bolivia. The selected candidate will work with the Ministry of Health and Sports, SEDES, and other key actors to develop communication strategies, manage information during emergencies, and enhance institutional visibility. They will be responsible for creating multimedia content, managing social media, and ensuring donor-aligned visibility requirements are met.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical assistance to strengthen RCCE and infodemic management capabilities for the Ministry of Health and Sports.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies and products for health promotion and emergency response.
  • Create multimedia content, including press releases, success stories, social media posts, and videos.
  • Manage institutional visibility for projects funded by donors and the Health Emergency Program.
  • Perform community listening, rumor monitoring, and public information management during crises.
  • Support the implementation of the International Health Regulations (IHR 2015) capacity building.

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in institutional or strategic communication.
  • Proven experience in media management and social media content creation.
  • Experience in public health, emergency communications, or infodemic management (preferred).
