What you'll do
- Provide companionship and social support in home and community settings.
- Facilitate consumer participation in leisure and community activities.
- Ensure consumer safety through protective supervision and advocacy.
- Assist with daily living skills training and health maintenance.
- Provide transportation and maintain communication with appropriate staff.
What it takes
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Related experience working with people with disabilities.
- Valid California driver's license with a clear driving record and auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a DOJ criminal background check.
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
