The Community Project Officer role at THE RAMBLERS involves delivering the Walking Together Project in north London, Slough, and Reading to engage disadvantaged communities through walking initiatives.
What you'll do
- Deliver the Ramblers Getting Started element of the Walking Together Project
- Maintain positive working relationships with local and regional partners
- Attend Community/Borough or Town Council, steering group, and other partner meetings and events
- Set up community walking programmes in identified areas each year
- Support the Community Development Officers in identifying further opportunities
