The role

World Vision is seeking a Community Engagement & Program Officer to support community development and child-focused projects in assigned communes, with responsibilities including community engagement, program management, DMEAL support, and sponsorship integration.

What you'll do

  • Facilitate partnerships and networking among local stakeholders
  • Build capacity for local partners on technical models
  • Raise awareness of World Vision’s identity and approach
  • Lead community level planning activities and facilitate annual community review sessions
  • Support communities in developing and implementing disaster preparedness plans

What it takes

  • 2-3 years of experience in community development or child-focused project implementation
  • Experience working with local partners, communities, and government using participatory approaches
  • Bachelor’s degree in community development, social sciences, education, public health, agriculture, or related fields
  • Training in community development, child protection, DMEAL, or participatory facilitation is preferred
  • Certification in project management is an advantage
  • Valid motorbike driving license for field travel
