The role
World Vision Mongolia is seeking a Community Coordinator to act as a catalyst and partnership broker, building the capacity of local partners to improve and sustain the well-being of children and their families in communities.
What you'll do
- Ensure program quality through effective planning, implementation, and monitoring with communities and partners
- Manage the alignment of Child Sponsorship programming with Global Centre’s and Support offices' new strategic initiatives
- Engage in community engagement and capacity building of partners and the community
- Facilitate the formation and ongoing capacity building of new and existing partners
- Support local fundraising initiatives and resource acquisition
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in social science and development or another related field
- At least 3 years of experience in community development and project management
- Strong interpersonal experience with Sponsorship activities, program planning, implementation and monitoring
- Experience with faith, community-based based and child-focused Empowerment programs
- Strong facilitation skills, including catalyzing, connecting, and capacity building
- English /Intermediate level at least/ and Mongolian written and oral communication
