The role

Anthropic is seeking a Policy Communications Manager to develop and execute communications strategies for AI security, governance, and responsible scaling, and to communicate about corporate governance structures and emerging regulatory frameworks.

What you'll do

Develop and execute communications strategies for Anthropic's approach to AI security, governance, and responsible scaling
Drive external communications about Anthropic's corporate governance, including the Long-Term Benefit Trust and public benefit corporation status
Serve as a trusted communications partner to security, product, legal, governance, and RSP leaders on sensitive, fast-moving matters
Develop proactive communications around emerging regulatory frameworks and transparency obligations
Manage reactive inbound media requests on complex security and governance topics
Build and maintain relationships with journalists and influencers covering security, corporate governance, and technology policy

What it takes

Experience in policy communications, including managing communications around complex security or governance topics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical topics accurately for broad audiences
Experience in issues management and developing reactive communications under pressure and tight timelines
