The role
The IDB Group is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and adaptable Communications Consultant to provide targeted communications support for the Guyana Country Office.
What you'll do
- Provide strategic communications advice and support to the Country Representative and management team
- Develop, implement, monitor, and report on the annual communications work plan
- Design and execute visibility initiatives that communicate development impact of IDB operations
- Support media outreach, press briefings, interviews, and placements
- Draft, coordinate, and obtain clearance for press releases, media responses, talking points, and other media materials
What it takes
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in strategic communications or public relations
- Demonstrated professional experience working in Guyana is highly desirable
- Proficiency in English spoken and written
- Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of the IDB's 48-member countries
