The role
The position involves producing professional, visually engaging, and user-friendly communication and training materials to support project implementation, knowledge sharing, and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll do
- Develop communication and visibility plans, editorial calendars, and implementation schedules
- Create engaging content and transform technical information into accessible messages
- Write and edit communication materials in Arabic and English
- Design visibility and communication products such as newsletters, brochures, reports, presentations, banners, and social media materials
- Document project activities through photography and videography when required
What it takes
- First Level University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, Marketing, Digital Communications, International Relations, or a related field
- Minimum Two (2) years of professional experience in developing and implementing communication and visibility strategies, campaigns, and outreach activities
- Experience working with UN agencies, international organizations, NGOs, or development projects is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and other relevant design software is required
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic (UN Level III (Advanced) in reading, writing, listening, and speaking)
- Experience working with UN agencies, international organizations, NGOs, or development projects is desirable
