The role
Jacaranda Maternity is seeking a Clinical Officer for its outpatient Specialized Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) clinic to provide high-quality chronic disease care.
What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients with chronic illnesses
- Develop individualized management plans and monitor treatment outcomes using evidence-based clinical guidelines
- Provide patient education and counselling on lifestyle modification, medication adherence, and disease self-management
What it takes
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Clinical Officers Council (COC) of Kenya
- Postgraduate qualification in Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Management from a recognized institution
- At least three (3) years' experience in managing patients with non-communicable diseases in a hospital or specialized outpatient setting
