The role
The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) is seeking a Climate and Investment Consultant to coordinate activities related to COP31 and the Investor Agenda.
What you'll do
- Organize COP31 activities across UNEP FI on behalf of the Climate Team
- Support contributions to ICAPs Expectations and Guidance or equivalent resource
- Contribute to a 2027 Global State of Investor Climate Action report
- Support policy work related to the Investor Agenda
- Facilitate communications between UNEP FI Secretariat, Investor Agenda partners, UNEP FI members, and external stakeholders
What it takes
- A master’s degree in international relations, business, event management, economics, or earth sciences is required
- At least seven (7) years of working experience in programme management, climate change or economics is required
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish and other United Nations languages is an asset
