The role

The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) is seeking a Climate and Investment Consultant to coordinate activities related to COP31 and the Investor Agenda.

What you'll do

  • Organize COP31 activities across UNEP FI on behalf of the Climate Team
  • Support contributions to ICAPs Expectations and Guidance or equivalent resource
  • Contribute to a 2027 Global State of Investor Climate Action report
  • Support policy work related to the Investor Agenda
  • Facilitate communications between UNEP FI Secretariat, Investor Agenda partners, UNEP FI members, and external stakeholders

What it takes

  • A master’s degree in international relations, business, event management, economics, or earth sciences is required
  • At least seven (7) years of working experience in programme management, climate change or economics is required
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish and other United Nations languages is an asset
