The role
The IDB Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Citizen Security Specialist to lead the design, supervision, and evaluation of citizen security operations.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, supervision, and evaluation of Citizen Security operations
- Serve as the Division’s focal point for governments and international partners
- Contribute to policy dialogue with public sector counterparts
- Promote regional and international initiatives addressing crime and violence
- Provide technical leadership in program development and management
What it takes
- Master's degree required, PhD preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in citizen security or related fields
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable
- Citizenship from one of the IDB’s 48-member countries
