The role
Action for Children is seeking a Children's Services Worker to support the safety, wellbeing, and development of children and young people through engaging activities and sessions.
What you'll do
- Support the safety, wellbeing, and development of children and young people
- Deliver engaging activities and sessions that meet individual needs
- Record and monitor outcomes for children
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
- Work collaboratively with Team Leaders and colleagues to provide high-quality support
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by listening to and acting on feedback from children, parents, and professionals
What it takes
- Level 2 or 3 in Early Years qualification recognised by OFSTED or willingness to work toward it
- Experience working with children and young people, either professionally, voluntarily, or through personal caring responsibilities
- Knowledge and understanding of disabilities and additional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles
