Childcare Specialist

The role

The Childcare Specialist at East Bay Innovations supports individuals with disabilities in community work settings, providing job coaching, pre-employment skills training, and assessment. They also assist with vocational evaluation, planning, and placement, and provide outreach to employers to develop employment opportunities.

What you'll do

• Provides coverage to consumers at their internship/job site
• Provides direct services to consumers as needed
• Assists consumers to grow in their educational and vocational skills
• Assists with Ticket to Work and vocational site development
• Represents the agency and acts as a liaison
• Assists with billing and reports

What it takes

• Bachelor’s degree in human services
• Three years of experience in service provision to individuals with disabilities
• Valid California driver's license
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
