The role
PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our SHS Team as the Child Care Coordinator at our Family Commons office in Long Beach, California.
What you'll do
- Participate in creating family-centered goal plans addressing short-and long-term goals
- Conduct crisis and risk assessments
- Facilitate and lead activities with groups of up to twenty students
- Assist students with homework, academic enrichment, recreation, and the arts
- Supervise all participants to ensure a safe learning environment
- Prepare educational/enrichment lesson plans

- Bachelor's degree in child development and/or teaching credential (preferred)
- Minimum one year paid or volunteer experience in tutoring/mentoring environment, preferably with elementary school students
