What you'll do
- Providing daily care to children, adolescents and adults enrolled in PHP and IOP
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning consistent with current evidence-based practice
- Leading experienced, multi-disciplinary clinical teams and making overall recommendations on treatment plans
- Adhering to documentation policies and protocols documenting all patient contacts in clinical record
- Participating in Utilization Review, Quality Assurance and professional development activities
- Meeting or exceeding established RVU, encounter and treatment-day benchmarks
What it takes
- BE or BC in Virginia
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain Virginia license and DEA certification
- Licensed or ability to obtain licensure within states Compass provides services
- Skilled in psychopharmacology and the evaluation and treatment of mental illness
- Experience with CBT, DBT, and ACT therapy modalities
- Excellent communication and executive functioning skills
