The role
The Child, Adolescent, and Youth Engagement Technical Advisor will lead the technical direction and operationalization of community-based psychosocial support and community-based initiatives within SEED’s Child, Adolescent, and Youth Engagement thematic pillar.
What you'll do
- Serve as the technical authority for the thematic pillar
- Translate SEED’s strategic goals into actionable interventions
- Lead the creation of SOPs, policies, and guidance documents
- Ensure all technical products are culturally sensitive and contextually relevant
- Provide technical advice to support program development and implementation
- Contribute to the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Social Work, or Public Health
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in technical leadership or advisory roles
- Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership capacity
- Proven experience in the humanitarian or development sector
- Proven experience in strategic program design and providing technical supervision
- Proven track record of building staff capacity through training, coaching, and mentorship
