The role
The Chief of Section, Staff Employment and Administration, will provide strategic leadership to the Staff Employment and Administration Section, managing a team responsible for the implementation of HR services, including contract management, benefits, and entitlements.
What you'll do
- Plan and oversee the management of activities undertaken by the Section
- Ensure that substantive work programmes are carried out in a timely fashion and meet high-quality standards
- Provide strategic leadership in developing and executing the benefits and entitlements strategy
- Administer employee benefits programs
- Liaise with the International Civil Service Commission and other organizations on matters related to staff administration
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in human resources management, business administration, or related field
- At least ten years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resources management
- At least five years of experience in supervising HR staff
- Experience in managing contract administration, entitlements, and other compensation and benefit matters
- Fluency in English and proficiency in one of the following: Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish
- Experience in leading effectively in a fast-changing environment
