The role
The Chief of Section, Supply is responsible for the overall management of technical and logistical support to all mission components by planning, coordinating and delivering supply services including management of staff and budgetary resources.

- Manages General Supply Unit, Rations Unit and Fuel Unit operations
- Formulates and oversees supply support plans for the field mission
- Coordinates between senior management at Mission, UNHQ, and relevant agencies
- Develops and recommends mission supply operations Results Based Budgeting (RBB)
- Monitors high value expenditures and approves requisitions
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in business administration, Supply Services Management, public administration, law, engineering or related field
- Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in logistics supply operations
- Experience managing major projects and procurement or global service contract(s)
- Fluency in English and French required
