The AI Access Initiative is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to help architect the financial backbone of a rapidly scaling AI-focused global development organization. The role involves strategic leadership, financial strategy, and organizational scaling.
What you'll do
- Design and stand up 2AI's core financial architecture
- Create an AI-native set of accounting & finance processes
- Run analyses to drive strategic organizational decisions
- Design, procure, and oversee a lean, high-performing finance and compliance ecosystem
- Own the annual audit, Form 990, and statutory and grant reporting obligations
- Drive governance and board operations
What it takes
- 12+ years in finance, including time as the most senior finance leader
- Multi-entity, cross-border finance experience in LMIC settings
- Comfort in a lean model
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to assess complex data and make strategic decisions
- CPA, JD, MBA or equivalent professional credential
