The role

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) is seeking a Chief Customer Experience Officer (CCXO) to lead the newly created Customer Experience Directorate. This executive role oversees data, insight, technology, business systems, and customer services to drive engagement and organizational impact. The successful candidate will champion a customer-centric culture and lead digital and cultural transformation across the charity. The position is strategic in nature, reporting directly to the CEO as part of the Executive Leadership Team.

What you'll do

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of approximately 25 colleagues.
  • Serve as the strategic lead for customer experience, data, and technology to the Board.
  • Drive digital transformation to improve user experience, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Own and govern end-to-end customer journeys across digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Manage significant budgets and external supplier relationships to ensure value for money.
