The role
The Chesapeake Gateways Ambassador will support the promotion of visitor experiences throughout the Chesapeake Gateways Network through digital and print resources, working with National Park Service staff to facilitate partnership communications and training.
What you'll do
- Support developing digital listings to highlight elements of Chesapeake Gateways with specific partners in alignment with Network general agreements.
- Contribute to the implementation of a professional digital presence based on strategic priorities for providing information to the public and partner organizations.
- Participate in a variety of activities and projects related to the mission of the National Park Service depending on interest areas.
- Community engagement and outreach, especially regarding engagement and involvement of young people in cultural heritage.
- Participate in developing interpretation, programming, and experiences at Chesapeake Gateways Places and Experiences for watershed visitors.
- Link culture and nature through interpretation, education, messaging, and initiatives.
