The role

The CCAC National Project Coordinator will support the Philippines’ National SLCP planning and implementation efforts, including the development and implementation of SLCP mitigation projects, technical support for the preparation of the Biennial Transparency Report, and coordination of national SLCP planning, policy, and implementation efforts.

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree in environmental science, economics, politics, international relations or a similar discipline
  • At least 2 years of professional experience working in a field relevant to climate change, air pollution, sustainable development or environment and health
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical assistance to governments and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholder groups including national governments
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral presentations)
  • Knowledge of the national policies in climate change mitigation and air pollution
