The role

The Cash Transfer Officer will support the implementation of cash and voucher assistance interventions under the Education For All in South Sudan, EFASS, Project, focusing on beneficiary targeting, registration, verification, distribution, monitoring, accountability, and documentation.

What you'll do

  • Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and documentation of EFASS education-linked cash transfer activities
  • Ensure cash transfer activities are implemented in line with EFASS programme design, SCI policies, donor requirements, approved workplans, SOPs, and humanitarian cash transfer standards
  • Support field-level implementation of cash transfer activities, including community sensitisation, beneficiary registration, verification, distribution, monitoring, and follow-up
  • Contribute to a community-based approach by supporting integrated planning and close coordination with internal teams

What it takes

  • Minimum of 3 years’ progressive experience in humanitarian or development programming
  • Experience supporting beneficiary targeting, registration, verification, cash distribution, post-distribution monitoring, accountability mechanisms, and data collection
  • Experience working with government institutions, schools, community structures, NGOs, UN agencies, financial service providers, and local authorities
  • Experience using digital data collection tools such as Kobo Collect, CommCare, ODK, or similar platforms
  • Good communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
